Encapsulated in the stunning environment of the Leicestershire countryside, The Big Shoot's clay shooting site is situated in the perfect location to truly enjoy the remarkable thrill of clay shooting. This adrenaline-thrilled competitive sport puts your deadeye accuracy to the test as you aim to hold your nerve and smash as many clays and targets as possible in a whole variety of different shooting events - tailor-made to suit your experience level! If you're a beginner our qualified and experienced instructors will be with you throughout - providing you with all the teaching you need to become a master in no time.
Upon arrival you'll be provided with all the latest safety equipment and will be given a full safety briefing from our qualified instructors.
On site we have a clubhouse serving breakfast rolls, plus hot and cold drinks. We can also offer ample parking and toilet facilities.
The site is closed every other Saturday.

Situated deep in the Leicestershire countryside, The Big Shoot's clay shooting venue provides you with magical views and top of the range facilities to have the perfect clay shooting experience. Our venue is able to offer a variety of different shooting disciplines which will provide people of all experience levels with a tailor-made challenge that'll push their shooting skills to the ultimate test! These shooting disciplines at our site are English Sporting, Compact Sporting and Down the Line. If you're a beginner, we offer the 25 clay package and you'll be accompanied by a qualified instructor who will provide you with expert tuition, guiding you through the day step-by-step to have you smashing clays in no time at all! If you're a regular shooter, we offer you the chance to shoot 50 clays.
Upon arrival, you'll be provided with a full a safety briefing then you'll be kitted out in all the safety equipment.

50 Clay Shoot
This fantastic package gives you and a group of friends, family or colleagues the chance to learn the basics of clay pigeon shooting by taking on a 50 clay shoot. After an initial briefing and demonstration you'll take it in turns to take on the targets and work your way round the traps.
With experienced instructors on hand to help fine tune your technique you'll be nailing the clays in no time, but do you have what it takes to claim the title of top gunner?

Based just seconds away from the city centre of Leicester, The Big Shoot's spectacular clay shooting venue located in the Leicestershire countryside is easily accessible for everyone across the country. Located just off the A47 or from the M1 and onto the B4114, there's no excuse not to find us. Full travel information will be provided for you on your booking confirmation receipt.

We had the BEST time at The Big Shoot in Leicester on Friday. Mick and his team were brilliant and made our time so fun and enjoyable. Their expertise and knowledge was second to none. I would highly recommend this event and venue for a truly great day out ! Amazing! I brought this experience for my partner as a birthday present. He loved it. The instructor Markie was amazing. He didn’t rush and made my partner feel really relaxed. Said multiple times for him to take his time and said he has all day for him. He explained everything was really safe and said he would rather him take his time and hit more. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommended anyone to come
Mick was absolutely brilliant. He was great at making us feel comfortable and able with the gun. We had a brilliant time and will definitely be rebooking for some more fun!

Mick was an amazing instructor who managed to keep it both fun and informative. He obviously has a wealth of experience both with shooting and coaching and I learnt a lot and went away with a having had enjoyable time too. I had only held a shotgun twice before and thanks to Mick I came runner up in the novice class of my very first clay shooting competition!
First time going shooting booked it for me and the wife for a date night kind of thing.
